Student dormitory in Bruneck - Installation completed

The federal state authority of South Tyrol is realising a scholar and student dormitory including a cafeteria on the new site of the Bruneck hotel management school. This project has included the idea of using prefabricated bathrooms since the very beginning. This method guarantees shorter construction periods and a rationalisation of the processes at the construction site. The company Unionbau Ltd., which was commissioned with the realisation of the project, has chosen the Saniclass FS prefabricated wet cells by Sanika. This system consists of a galvanized steel sheet framework and Fermacell® gypsum fibre panels. The points of intersection were coordinated by architect Matteo Scagnol from Modus Architects, who has been responsible for the implementation planning. The production and supply of 63 tiled bathrooms has been concluded in a short amount of time and approved by the construction supervisor, architect Karl Kerschbaumer from Kerschbaumer, Pichler & Partner.
